Serving Local Families with Compassion,  Dignity and the Love of Christ.

Women At The Well Outreach was founded from a deep desire to serve women and children during some of life's most challenging moments.

What began as a calling has grown into a resource center where families can receive essential items, support, and encouragement—all at no cost.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates a physical distribution center serving foster families, gap families, and women and children in need throughout North Central

West Virginia.

Our Mission

At Women At The Well Outreach, we believe that when hearts are willing, God’s love shines powerfully through us. We are here to serve, uplift, and walk alongside women, children, foster families, single mothers, and families in need—offering hope, support, and the light of Christ in every situation.

Our mission is to restore, empower, and equip families by meeting practical needs through a barrier-free resource center rooted in compassion, dignity, and stewardship. We proudly support foster and kinship families, as well as “gap” families—families who earn too much to qualify for traditional assistance programs such as SNAP or WIC, yet still struggle to meet everyday needs.

Through essentials such as diapers, wipes, hygiene products, clothing, baby items, and emergency foster placement supplies, we strive to ensure that every family feels seen, valued, supported, and loved.

Our Resource Center

Women At The Well Outreach operates a physical resource center built on a barrier-free access model, where individuals and families can come in and receive essential items at no cost.

Our space is designed to feel welcoming and dignified—similar to a store setting—where families can choose what they need, including clothing, hygiene products, diapers, baby formula, and food.

We only ask you to provide proof of guardianship of a child between the ages of 0-14.

Manna for Minis: Kid-Friendly Food Pantry

Manna For Our Minis

Nourishing Bodies. Sharing Love. Showing Jesus.

Manna For Our Minis is the children's food pantry of Women At The Well Outreach, created to help ensure that no child in North Central West Virginia goes without food. Unlike a traditional food pantry, Manna For Our Minis focuses specifically on children by providing kid-friendly, shelf-stable foods that are easy for families to prepare and children to enjoy.

Our goal is to help bridge the gap during difficult seasons while bringing encouragement, compassion, and practical support to those who need it most. As a ministry of Women At The Well Outreach, Manna For Our Minis is part of a greater mission to care for children and families through our free children's boutique, diaper bank, infant nutrition resources, hygiene items, and other essential services.

Families we serve include:

  • Children of all ages
  • Single-parent families
  • Foster and kinship families
  • Grandparents raising grandchildren
  • Families experiencing unexpected financial hardship
  • Families facing temporary crises or emergencies

We believe every family deserves to be welcomed with kindness, treated with dignity, and reminded that they are not alone. We are also proud to partner with Mountaineer Food Bank, a member of the Feeding America network, helping expand access to nutritious food for children and families throughout North Central West Virginia.

Whether you're a family seeking assistance, a volunteer looking to serve, or a donor wanting to make a difference, your support helps ensure that children in our community have access to the nourishment they need to grow, learn, and thrive. Together, we are nourishing bodies, sharing hope, and shining His light for His glory—one child, one family, and one act of love at a time.

Our Story

God's Vision, Our Yes

This mission started in a quiet moment that I’ll never forget. I was sitting at my desk at work when, all at once, I could clearly see it—the outreach. It wasn’t just a thought or a good idea… it felt like something placed on my heart. A place where families could come, be supported, and not feel alone.

From that moment on, things began to move quickly. It felt like a whirlwind—in the best way. Step by step, doors opened, the right people came into place, and resources started to come together. What once felt like just a vision began turning into something real right in front of me.

But at the center of it all, we know this outreach is not ours—it’s His. All glory goes to God. He is the true founder of Women at the Well Outreach. We are simply His hands and feet, doing the work He has called us to do. We are just His employees, showing up each day with willing hearts to serve.

This mission is deeply personal to me because I’ve lived it. I know what it’s like to be a single mother, working hard and trying to provide, while still wondering how everything is going to come together. I know the weight that comes with that season, and I know how important it is to have support.

That’s why Women at the Well Outreach is more than just a place to receive items. Yes, we provide clothing, diapers, baby items, and support for foster families—but more than that, we want every person who walks through our doors to feel seen, valued, and cared for.

We want foster parents and families to know they haven’t just found a resource—they’ve found people who truly care and are walking alongside them.

What started as a simple step of obedience has now grown into a physical distribution center serving families in our community and beyond. And we continue forward with humble hearts, knowing God is still writing this story—and the best is yet to come.
